Our speaker this month will be longtime SportsTalk co-host, Jimmy Hyams. Hyams is a member of the Tennessee Sports Writers Hall of Fame. Prior to that Hyams spent 13 years at the News Sentinel, primarily covering University of Tennessee sports.

No, it’s not alphabet soup this month… it is Knoxville’s own, Hallerin Hilton Hill and he is speaking to the group on July 14, at the Emerald Youth Foundation. July’s meeting promises to an interesting one. Hallerin is well known for his radio show, but did you know he’s also a grammy-nominated songwriter?
