The first NKBPA meeting of 2019 will be on January 11 at BESCO, 1800 N Central St, Knoxville, TN 37917. President George Bove starts the new year off right for our businesses in the 37917 area.
Breakfast is sponsored by BESCO and the meeting will begin at 7:45am.
Our speaker will be the new Knox County Mayor, Glenn Jacobs. A celebrity known the world over as WWE’s Kane, Jacobs could have lived and served anywhere but chose Knoxville as home. Long before becoming mayor, Jacobs served his community by giving back and making a difference. He serves on the advisory council at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, as well as the board of the Halls/Powell Boys and Girls Club, owns Jacobs Insurance Associates, is the local champion of the Kindness Revolution, a national anti-bullying initiative. He and his wife Crystal also founded Kane’s Crusaders, a non-profit organization with the mission of bringing joy to the chronically ill teenagers of East Tennessee. Don’t miss the first NKBPA meeting of the year and learn more about Mayor Jacobs.
